On this website we aim to explain who we are and what the Operarias Parroquiales do, highlighting the lay and secular character of the Institute founded by Magdalena Aulina.
At the same time, we present the human and transcendent profile of our foundress, the Servant of God Magdalena Aulina. Her entrepreneurial spirit moved her to found the Secular Institute and to carry out numerous works of service to the Church. Her reputation for holiness, which accompanied her even during her lifetime, now finds its culmination in the ongoing Canonization Cause.
She was courageous in her time, and it was not so long ago. Today, however, materialism and the absence of values make the new evangelization the true challenge of the present.
Perhaps at some point you have felt the urge to take a step forward, to do something… perhaps you want to get to know yourself a little better in order to discover what you are capable of. Maybe you have already gone a step further and want to commit more deeply. The simple fact that you are reading this webpage already says a great deal about you.
Let’s do something: we propose a few experiences with the Institute and briefly explain each one. If you would like more information, or if you have another initiative you would like to suggest, just let us know; we are here to listen.
Take care of the light you carry within. If you share it… it will never go out.
| Collaborating in America You will have noticed that we are working in Paraguay and Puerto Rico.
We are with the poorest, in harsh conditions and with very limited resources.
But Jesus can reach every heart, and we help make it possible.
The work is hard and we are short of hands; we need adventurous heroes… do you dare.
| Community Life Experience We offer you the chance to spend a few days with us.
You will get to know our way of life. Surely you too will bring your own experiences, sharing your stories and affection.
A different and enriching experience; a first step toward getting to know us better… and getting to know yourself better. Do you dare.
| Collaborating in Africa You will have noticed that we are working in Butembo (Democratic Republic of the Congo) and, in an itinerant way, in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
It is amazing to see how the message of Jesus takes root most deeply among the poorest.
Working with them is very comforting, but it is also very hard.
That is why we are short of hands. Do you dare to embark on an adventure like this.
